Iyengar Inspired

icon-treeAsana series that focuses on the physical and foundational principles of alignment to awaken, illuminate, and integrate the whole body/mind.  We will be using props in class to establish greater stability and precision, as well as inviting the body to be supported so that the mind can open and accept the benefits of the asana series.  This class is inspired by the Iyengar method, grounded in the eight-limb philosophy of Patanjali, with the emphasis on alignment of the body, creating a sense of balance, lightness and inner awareness.
