Prenatal yoga is a beautiful way to connect with the new life growing within, with the added bonus of tuning in to your body’s changes, while preparing mentally and physically for the marathon of childbirth and mothering. These benefits and more are all intertwined with the whole Self’s most basic need: breath.
All stages and levels of pregnant mothers are welcome to join in the sharing circle where unlimited matters of pregnancy and childbirth are honored. The yoga asana practice is geared toward strength and stress relief for body, mind and spirit; inclusive for all levels of yoga experience. The closing of class provides the expecting mother with deep rest and a nourishing self care tool for pregnancy and beyond.
Bring a mat or use one of ours, and remember to hydrate well before, during and after your prenatal practice. Trips to the ladies’ room are welcomed and encouraged during prenatal classes.
