Restorative

icon-waterOn the surface, restorative yoga is a practice of holding a specially designed sequence of poses for extended periods of time, completely supported by props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks in order to allow the body to fully relax in a supportive environment. Below the surface, restorative yoga alternately stimulates and soothes the organs; gently moves the spine in all directions; improves heart function; and allows for deep rest and complete surrender of the body and the mind. Because of the large number of props required per person, this class is capped at eight people.

Please bring an eye covering (eye pillow, tea towel, scarf) and dress in comfortable layers as your body temperature will drop during class.
