Exploring ways language roots in the body
Each four-hour session, designed to honor and reflect the season of the day, consists of breath awareness/meditation, restorative poses, writing exercises and discussion. April’s workshop will weave together explorations of stillness, observation, and the nuances of delight. We’ll be integrating the element of air with our practice, examining ways the intentional pause can inform, support, and nourish our creativity, ideas, and connection to self.
Bring your favorite writing instrument, paper, and an eye pillow or mask. And be ready to dig deep.
As one of our (repeat) participants has said about this series: “Pogatry is a unique, very meaningful, and potent blend of mind/heart/soul (poetry) and body (yoga) in alignment with the rhythm of nature and seasons. For me, it’s been a sure recipe for self discovery and expression of new territory in my inner landscape.”
